Got a Fitness Buddy?

Sunday, June 03, 2007

Alright gym goers, health buffs and fitness enthusiasts, let me ask you a question: Do you track your progress? Well, I know for sure most of you will answer a 'Yes' because all of us wanted to see a difference that is why we set values for us to compare. But have you tracked the factors that affects your progress (or if there is any -- at all)?

NO? Yeah, I've been expecting that. Counting those calories and proteins from all the food we eat is just a heavy load that doing the exercise or diet alone is already enough!

Guess what? I've found us a new bestfriend! Calorie Counter from My Fitness Pal is a revolutionary web tool that let us eat, have a great time while slowly (rigourously -- depending on how fast you want to loose weight) burning the pounds down -- and they do this for free!

Here is how it works:

  1. First, you create a free account here. Don't be afraid to share your email address, because they value our privacy.
  2. After successfully creating an account, you will be redirected to your user page. In there you will find these tools:

Food Diary Food Diary Exercise Log Exercise Log Check-in Check-in Message Boards Message Boards
  3. Each page contains an application that will guide you in reaching your weight goal. Food Diary logs the food you eat and displays the remaining calorie. Exercise Log tracks your cardiovascular and strenght training. Check in monitors your progress by entering your weekly weights. Their message boards contains numerous topics about diet and fitness -- and thats not all! It has a great and helpful community so you will surely like it there!
