Menudo is back!
Sunday, November 25, 2007
Oh yes! The 80's latin pop sensation is back! But don't get me wrong. They are no longer made up of Ricky, Robby et al. Menudo got some new breeds!
Just a few days ago, they made a TRL appearance, after their show, Making Menudo concluded. They are actually uncomparable with the original Menudo gang.

Amy Winehouse I can go to Rehab with you
Saturday, August 18, 2007
She is currently my uber favorite soul-jazz singer. Of course her single Rehab is just one of the fine songs you can hear from her album "Back to Black."
Her song "B-Boy Baby" is a collaboration with former Sugababes and now a solo performer Mutya Buena.

Zen Buddism | The Sarcastic Way

Steve Jobs - you know the guy who invented the iPhone, has this interest on Zen Buddism, so this is my tribute to him. Steve, send me a freegin iPhone.
The 22 Zen Buddism Principles:
- Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone.
- The journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt and leaky tire.
- It's always darkest before dawn. So if you're going to steal your neighbor's newspaper, that's the time to do it.
- Don't be irreplaceable. If you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted.
- Always remember that you're unique. Just like everyone else.
- Never test the depth of the water with both feet.
- If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of car payments.
- Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
- If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
- Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
- If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
- If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.
- Some days you're the bug; some days you're the windshield.
- Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
- The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.
- A closed mouth gathers no foot.
- Duct tape is like 'The Force'. It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.
- There are two theories to arguing with women. Neither one works.
- Generally speaking, you aren't learning much when your lips are moving.
- Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
- Never miss a good chance to shut up.
- Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night. And I mean never.

Consider this: Tattooing
Saturday, August 04, 2007
I wanna get a tattoo. I've been contemplating about this for the past 2 weeks and at some point, I even had a design in my mind. But why would I want a tattoo? I dunno, maybe I started to appreciate the art of tattooing ever since I saw Angelina Jolie's. I'm a fan of symbolism and obscured meaning, so maybe that is why I liked her tattoo.
Her tattoo are map coordinates for the birthplaces of her children. Top-Bottom: Cambodia, Ethiopia, Namibia, Vietnam. You can use Wikimapia to view the location.
So there, let's I am really getting a tattoo, maybe tomorrow. The question is, where should I place it? Somewhere people cannot see it or at a spot where it can be seen in full view? All I know is that it should tell something about me.
Tattoos often tell a story and give insight into the personal character and values of the individual. If that individual enjoys strength and values honor it can be readily seen. If the individual values his comrades that too is displayed in tattoos. Hardships in life and past or present loves are also displayed with great pride. Most tattoos tell a story and some tattoos tell tall tales of what that individual wishes they could be, but is not.
Do your tattoos show strength of character or do they proclaim that you are something that you are not? Telling tall tales on tattoos is serious business and can get you into places you wish to be, but can cause serious issues when they find out you are not as tough as you pretend. For those who wish they were something more, they need to prove it to themselves and others prior to wearing a badge of honor.
For example you're a really geek guy; a tough, geek guy, then the Blue Screen of Death perfectly fits your personality:
But the most important factor, for me is the originality of your design. Tattoo is not a tshirt that you can wear whenever you like and just take it off when you get tired of it (or starts to smell). Tattooing is something that should be considered as a permanent "addition" to your body (although laser technology can erase tattoos). Consider the image below: Hmmm.. maybe I should consider the Prison Break tattoo. No?

Hottest 4: Emma, Rachael, Katie and Aishwarya
Thursday, July 19, 2007
Chances of you not knowing at least 2 of the ladies above are slim to none. That is because they are indeed the most talked about ladies today. It happens that they are also my personal choice.
Emma Watson who you may also call Miss Hermione Granger, is the co-star of Harry Potter from the Harry Potter series (I think there's no need with this kind of introduction). Lets get to the interesting details. At 17, this lad would be earning $5 million for each of the final two Harry Potter movies. That's quite a lot of money for a young girl.
Last year, I remembered her interview about Daniel Radcliffe doing full frontal in the stage production of "Equus," she said that she would do a nude scene, if asked to. Does this mean that Daniel and Emma can do full frontals together? Hehehe.
Have you seen Transformers? Huh? If yes, then you probably know Rachael Taylor. She played Maggie Madsen in that movie, which I think lacks a few *juices*. She is a good actress. But at some point you may notice that she's exerting too much effort in acting... which doesn't look good. And BTW, If you looove the Thai film "Shutter" and is also a Rachael Taylor fan, then you no longer have to wait for an another Transformer movie. Next year, the American version of "Shutter" will be starred with Rachael Taylor.
Katie Leung. Many teenage girls envied Katie Leung for having the chance to kiss Daniel Radcliffe for about 30 seconds. According to Daniel they did 8-takes on that kissing scene. So doing the math, that is approaximately 4 minutes of kissing! LOL.
Yeah, maybe she's the perfect Cho Chang. Whatever. If only she'd gone shopping instead.
Katie thought about leaving the "Harry Potter" audition because the line was very long. She said she would rather go shopping instead of waiting for 4 hours.
And just for the record Katie Leung loves the movie The Incredibles.
Aishwarya Rai oh my! Tagged as the most beautiful woman in the world, Aiswarya Rai is a three-time Filmfare Award-winning Indian actres. She's also the 1994 Miss World winner. Last April, Aishwarya Rai starred in a film called "Provoked" with Naveen Andrews (yeah Lost baby!) and Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid needs extra cash) and is scheduled to release 5 more movies this year and in 2008.
Aishwarya Rai describes her self as an average woman with average concerns.
Cool. hehe.
Aishwarya Rai is married to Indian actor Abhishek Bachchan and is daughter-in-law to Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri Bachchan. (Just in case you're into details. *wink*)

Maria Flor de Luna and Harry Potter
Friday, June 22, 2007
Gosh. My mom cried watching tonight's finale of Flor de Luna. Poor little girl she died for being a hero. She dies for giving people courage and shedding light to their path.
And I think this scenerio would also be seen at the last book of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Yeah, I know killing a major character is such a cruel act. But hey, that is the story!
So yeah, I think Harry Potter will die on book 7 just like what had happened to Flor de Luna.
LMAO. This is funny.

ABS-CBN's "Gokada Go!"
Friday, June 08, 2007

Gokada Go replaces ABS-CBN's Let's Go as their Saturday afternoon teen comedy flick last June 2, 2007.
Gokada Go has a lesser 6 main casts compare to Let's Go's 12 casts all with different personalites.
The main story line of the series is finding a family through friends. And Gokada is a one big family. Eventually characters will find love, romance and relationship through their shared journey.
Comedy teen flicks are the usual Saturday afternoon Filipino TV, so expect that Gokada Go wouldn't be different from the others.
Gokada Go cast:
Gerald Anderson as Gabriel "Gab" Fernandez - a working student from Cebu who is also arrogant. A walking paradox himself, Gabriel exudes the bad boy image but secretly cries when he hears his and his ex-girlfriend’s theme song.
Kim Chiu as Melody Go - an accounting major who is an interior designer at heart. A walking contradiction, the pretty genius is obsessed with her feng shui and horoscope but there is a problem—she brings nothing but bad luck to Gabriel, and she doesn’t know it.
Matteo Guidicelli a cebuano kart racer, designated 2004 Karter of the year plays the role of Matteo.
Gina Pareño as Ms. Gina - she plays the nasty, naughty and funny new dorm manager.
Former Let's Go casts includes Junniper
, Bob
, Bangs
, Alex
playing the same role they did on the series.

Paris Hilton Ripped by Sarah Silverman
Wednesday, June 06, 2007
I don't know how to react on Sarah Silverman's "patuchada" with Paris Hilton. It was quite a slack but it hits a good amount of guts.
I wasn't able to watch this year's MTV Movie Awards because we are currently uber-poor (like we can now only afford 4 KFC bucket meals and 2 family size pizzas on a movie friday night -- huhu) and MTV Philippines is no where to be seen on the frequency.
Good thing ALOT of people uploaded this clip at YouTube and I had a glimpse of what happened that night.
Sarah was unstoppable! I best laughed at the part where she says "They made famous vaginas even famouser... I see 3 vaginas -- oh Tobey Maguire sorry 4 vaginas!" And I was like -- LMAO!
As for Lindsay Lohan, well she really is a rude little pig. I know it from the start thats why I never liked her. And the rivalry between Lindsay and Hillary Duff, geez I bet Lindsay faked her comments on interviews.
And for Paris... Well atleast you are getting special treatment inside the jail. Haha. Bars looking like penises are awesome! LOL. Imagine how envy the homo inmates are gonna get when they hear about this!

Lost Season 3 Finale: Through the Looking Glass
Thursday, May 24, 2007
I don't know if I liked it or not. I mean before season 3 they told us that this season's going to be all about the Others. We'll know more about them... but season 3 ended and guess what instead of having answers all we've got are all questions.
And what the hell is with the flash forward? Now we know that Jack and Kate got of the island. Jack is a drunkard, pill-popping doctor who can't even do a surgery and even tried to suicide. While kate... we don't know if she's still on the run but his quote made me thinking: "I got to go, he'll be wondering where I am."
And why dis Jack called kate to ask her to go to the funeral? And who the hell is in the coffin? Arrrrgggg! This is really frustrating! And it gets even more frustrating to know that we have to wait till February next year for the season 4. And wait again untill 2010 to find out what happen to the survivors for the 6th and final season.
In the mean while, this episode is kinda kick ass because they got to kill the Others and Jack got to punch Ben in the face! Hahaha.
Ros (the french woman) also met her daughter, Alex!

The Magic of Angelica Panganiban

I know this is quite an old story. And I also know that many of you might have seen the Ginebra San Miguel posters already... but not the raw material -- raw as it can get.
Photoshop geniuses are such heaven sents for Miss Angelica Panganiban, they gave her a botox, lipo, and all those medical treatment that Bello Med could offer, the thing is, they did it virtually.

The Simpsons - Now & Then
Monday, April 23, 2007
2007 marks the 20th anniversary of The Simpsons franchise. With 394 episodes, 18 seasons, and 1 movie (with 1 more movie to come), this is the longest running handrawn cartoon in the world!
Then
The image above are The Simpsons as they first appeared at Tracy Ullman show. Look at how Bart smirks, and Homer-- he looks like he could kill any one with just one wrong move. Their hairstyles are kind of sick too! Uneven spikes and very pointed lips. Their facial expressions -- scary!
Now
Ahhh! Better! Although Homer lost a few more strands of hair, at least he is smiling. Bart also looks more child friendly. As for Marge's hair, it became taller but she sure can carry that style!
This just makes me really excited for the movie (I'm still excited for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. )
I found this video at YouTube. They are the real life Simpsons family. Ubercool!

Gwen Stefani - The Sweet Escape
Knowing our favorite artists means loving their music more.
Here are some FAQs fans like me asks Gwen -- of course with her answers.
What is your favorite song on the new album and Why?
"4 In The Morning" is one of my favorite songs on the new album. I don't know why but it brings pleasure to my ears.
What was the inspiration for the sweet escape artwork cover?
My initial inspiration for the artwork was seeing Jill Greenberg’s End Times exhibit. I fell in love with the beautifully lit, emotional images. The photos looked hyper real and perfectly perfect even though the emotions were slightly disturbing. The shots with sunglasses on the cover represent our guarded exterior while the interior shots show the real emotions we all have inside.
Does Kingston like No Doubt and Gwen music??????

Are the Harajuku girls going to be a part of the next tour or are they retired?

All Stars -- My Dance Idols!

Seriously, the moment I saw the ad, I wanted to dance na.
Eh hindi naman ako makasayaw dito sa bahay, kaya nilabas ko nalang ang aking passion sa papagitan ng panonoood ng mga videos ng mga taong sumasayaw.
