Impakta
Yeah. Impakta talaga ang wisdom tooth lalo na kapag ito ay Impacted Molar. Kaya pala sumasakit ang left jaw ko, kasi nga binabangga na ng Impakta na Impacted Molar yung 2nd molar ko.
Sabi pa ng Impakta kong dentista ay I need to rest for about a week kapag tinanggal na Impaktang Impacted molar. I can’t afford to have absences pa naman ngayon kasi kakasimula ko palang sa work.
Impakta talaga.
Asar talaga.
Weee! Unti-unti na to! Jae! Dapat pala nakipag pustahan ako seyo. Hehe.

The Best Things in Life are Free
Monday, July 23, 2007
Admit it, we have downloaded illegal music maybe once or twice, but music publishers can't blame it on us. Do they expect us to sit there while the shinny, big apple is there in front of us? Of course we get tempted, to download it and maybe some more -- but nonetheless it is illegal.
So, I've listed here the BEST, FREE, LEGAL and FULL VERSION softwares per category developed by hobbyists, non-profit developers and organizations. These are free because they are open-source, meaning anyone can revise the software and upload it (given that it is stable) or the developers are just rich. Either way, we are loving the all these FREE Softwares!
Free Downloads! 3D Graphics, Anti-spyware, anti-virus, anti-rootkit, Free media players and browsers. Enjoy the limitless open-source for your office and documents, events, email and business. Unleash your creative side with this free softwares for 2D Graphics and Image manipulation and desktop enhancement. Kill that boredom with games wont even cost you a penny or establish a blog with the free developer tools. Be a star in YouTube and start your own vlog using the free video blogging softwares!
3D Graphics (Alternative for Maya 3D)
- Blender 3D - My personal favorite. Blender 3D is unbelievably professional looking for a free software. If you are a frustrated 3D artist/developer or just a noob in the 3D scene, Blender 3D is just right for you. Tutorials can be found at their official website and at Tutorialized.com
- Google Sketchup - Dream, Design and communicate in 3D. Google Sketchup comes in two different versions, the free version and the paid one. Google sketchup is more exciting to use if you have Google Earth installed in your PC. You can create models of real-world buildings and other structures, upload them to the Sketchup servers and let the world see your creation!
Anti-Spyware / Anti-virus / Anti-rootkit (Alternative for Norton and McAffee)
- Ad-Aware SE Personal - This is the most popular anti-spyware ever, with nearly a million of downloads every week! It has a sleek design... but forget the design, when talking about anti-spywares we talk about performance -- which Ad-aware has.
- AVG Anti-Virus Free - Probably the most popular free AV, I've been using AVG, January last year till now. Unlike Norton, it doesn't run heavy load on your background so it won't affect the performance of your PC.
- RootkitRevealer - one of my fave. It is an advanced root kit detection utility. It output lists Registry and file system API discrepancies that may indicate the presence of a user-mode or kernel-mode rootkit. (nosebleed).
Media Player / Streaming / Podcast (Alternative for Microsoft Media Player and Real Player)
- Songbird - Ubercool player! I love the streaming radio stations embedded on the player. Now, I can listen to my music or radio stations with just one player that does not eats up my memory!
- Pandora - Lets you discover music by means of analyzing the patterns of the type of music you like. (not available outside US)
- Musicovery - also lets you discover music only that you chooses the genre and the timeline instead of the artist or the song. (Available everywhere)
Browsers / Plugins (Alternative for Internet Explorer)
- Mozilla FireFox - who doesn't know Firefox? Winner of numerous awards, Firefox is famous with its Tab Browsing and fast loading of pages.
- Hyperwords - This plugin makes the internet more interactive by making any word or phrase into an immediate search term. Watch the video here.
- Comodo Verification Engine - an anti-phishing or identity theft tool. Place your mouse cursor over a site logo. If it is authentic, a green border will appear around your browser. So if you really wish to be sure you are looking at the real Paypal site rather than a clever imitation created to steal your identity, install Verification Engine now!
Office / Documents (Alternative for Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat)
- OpenOffice - The real alternative for the whole office apps, OpenOffice is complete from Word processing to diagram maker (Visio).
- Cute PDF Writer - Don't confuse the name with what this free software can do. If you don't have the commercial version of Acrobat, you probably can't create PDF files too. Cute PDF Writer is the free version of commercial PDF creation software. CutePDF Writer installs itself as a "printer subsystem". This enables virtually any Windows applications (must be able to print) to create professional quality PDF documents - with just a push of a button!
- WikiPad - Hearts on this free software! What makes WikiPad different from other notepad applications is the ease with which you can cross-link your information. Links in a wiki are created by typing in WikiWords. A WikiWord is any mixed case word typed into the editor. TodoList or JohnDoe are example WikiWords. The term wiki means "quick" in Hawaiian, and wikis are all about quickly linking your information together.
Events / Calendar (Alternative for your real calendar!)
- 30 Boxes - It lets you connect with people who matters most. Does what most calendar do, only in a techie, cool way.
- Google Calendar - C'mon, everybody loves google products. They are light and easy to use. Google Calendar isn't far from those.
Email / Communication (Alternative for Outlook Express and paid POP3 Mails)
- Thunderbird - Another Mozilla product. I once used this, and I could say that it's a great client. If you have a Gmail account, you can use this to instantly download your mails to your PC.
- Desktop SMS - Send your SMS directly from your PC! - Just download DesktopSMS and install it. Desktop SMS allows you to send SMS as easy and convenient as emails. Just enter the recipient and your message, press "send" and your done! Desktop SMS seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Outlook® and Outlook Express®!
Imaging / 2D Graphics (Alternative for Adobe Photoshop)
- GIMP - GIMP is an acronym for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed program for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It has many capabilities. It can be used as a simple paint program, an expert quality photo retouching program, an online batch processing system, a mass production image renderer, an image format converter, etc.
- Draw Plus - Are you one of those people who always wanted to unleash your creativity with a powerful drawing and graphics product, but didn't want to spend hundreds of pounds on software to do it? Have you always thought that to produce high quality graphics and animations you'd need expensive training and hours of concentration? The award-winning DrawPlus 4 is the user-friendly program that will enable you to produce outstanding results with all your drawings, graphics, illustrations and animations. You'll be astounded by how much power this amazing software sensation gives you, and all for free!
Desktop Enhancement
- uTorrent - µTorrent is a lightweight and efficient BitTorrent client for Windows with many features.
- FlashGot - is a free Mozilla/Firefox/Flock/Thunderbird extension (compatible with Netscape too), meant to handle single and massive ("all" and "selection") downloads with several external Download Managers.
Games (Alternative for many over-rated commercial games!)
- Line Rider - An internet based application. You probably heard about this many times. Line rider had been featured several times on YouTube. I'm not an expert with this game but I find it nice nonetheless. The interface is simple but requires knowledge in Physics! OMG!
- Invasion Force Turbo - features smooth graphics, addictive and fun game play, frenetic action, spectacular and colorful particle effects and it is completely free!
- Plasma Pong - Plasma Pong is a variation of Pong that utilizes real-time fluid dynamics to drive the game environment. Players have several new abilities that add fun twists to the classic game. In the game you can inject plasma fluid into the environment, create a vacuum from your paddle, and blast shockwaves into the playing area. All these abilities have fluid-based kinetic effects on the ball, making Plasma Pong a fast-paced and exciting game.
- MechCommander 2 - MechCommander 2 Shared Source Code Release - This is the Shared Source release for MechCommander 2. This release contains all of the source code an source assets required to build MechCommander 2. This release can be used with the Microsoft XNA Build March 2006 CTP.
Programming / Development
- Krugle - Krugle is the search engine for developers! Krugle makes it easy for developers to find source code and technical information - fast!
- Browsershots - Ever wonder how your blog looks like at IE, Firefox, Opera or any other browser? Browsershots is a free online platform where you can test your web design in different browsers. When you submit your web address, it will be added to the job queue. A number of distributed computers will automatically open your website in their browser. Then they will make screenshots and upload them to the central server here.
Video Blogging / Multimedia (Alternative for iTunes, Adobe Premier and Nero)
- Miro(Democracy) - The free open-source internet TV and video player.
- Split Camera - SplitCamera is a freeware virtual video clone and split video capture driver for connecting several applications to a single video capture source. Usually, if you have a web camera or video camera connected to your computer, you cannot use it in more than one application at the same time, and there is no standard Windows options that makes it possible. Split Camera driver allows you to easily multiply your web-camera (any models), video cameras ( any model: analog or ditial : VHS, DV, TV-IN or TV-tunner ) in video chat or video conference software like ICQ, Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, Skype Video, Camfrog, AOL AIM, Pal Talk, or whatever... and to broadcast it to many users at a time.
- ImageToAVI - ImageToAVI will quickly convert a list of image/picture files into an AVI video. That video can then be loaded into your favorite DVD authoring program and burned to disc. Just imagine, your entire family photo collection converted to everlasting 1's and 0's.
Whew! That's it for now. If ever I found new freebies, I will post it here in my blog. If you like this post, please Digg it or Stumbleupon it.

Hottest 4: Emma, Rachael, Katie and Aishwarya
Thursday, July 19, 2007
Chances of you not knowing at least 2 of the ladies above are slim to none. That is because they are indeed the most talked about ladies today. It happens that they are also my personal choice.
Emma Watson who you may also call Miss Hermione Granger, is the co-star of Harry Potter from the Harry Potter series (I think there's no need with this kind of introduction). Lets get to the interesting details. At 17, this lad would be earning $5 million for each of the final two Harry Potter movies. That's quite a lot of money for a young girl.
Last year, I remembered her interview about Daniel Radcliffe doing full frontal in the stage production of "Equus," she said that she would do a nude scene, if asked to. Does this mean that Daniel and Emma can do full frontals together? Hehehe.
Have you seen Transformers? Huh? If yes, then you probably know Rachael Taylor. She played Maggie Madsen in that movie, which I think lacks a few *juices*. She is a good actress. But at some point you may notice that she's exerting too much effort in acting... which doesn't look good. And BTW, If you looove the Thai film "Shutter" and is also a Rachael Taylor fan, then you no longer have to wait for an another Transformer movie. Next year, the American version of "Shutter" will be starred with Rachael Taylor.
Katie Leung. Many teenage girls envied Katie Leung for having the chance to kiss Daniel Radcliffe for about 30 seconds. According to Daniel they did 8-takes on that kissing scene. So doing the math, that is approaximately 4 minutes of kissing! LOL.
Yeah, maybe she's the perfect Cho Chang. Whatever. If only she'd gone shopping instead.
Katie thought about leaving the "Harry Potter" audition because the line was very long. She said she would rather go shopping instead of waiting for 4 hours.
And just for the record Katie Leung loves the movie The Incredibles.
Aishwarya Rai oh my! Tagged as the most beautiful woman in the world, Aiswarya Rai is a three-time Filmfare Award-winning Indian actres. She's also the 1994 Miss World winner. Last April, Aishwarya Rai starred in a film called "Provoked" with Naveen Andrews (yeah Lost baby!) and Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid needs extra cash) and is scheduled to release 5 more movies this year and in 2008.
Aishwarya Rai describes her self as an average woman with average concerns.
Cool. hehe.
Aishwarya Rai is married to Indian actor Abhishek Bachchan and is daughter-in-law to Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri Bachchan. (Just in case you're into details. *wink*)

Doing it in Seconds
Wednesday, July 18, 2007
Have you guys seen the infomercial years ago with this guy scanning pages of a book and it turns out that he is actually reading it? Well, they are selling that technique for over $40.00 in the states and around P2,000 in my country.
Now, Im sure you dont want to shed your money over that kind of thing. I tried scouting the interweb (House fan here) with that video but to no good. Of courseI wasn't really expecting to find it. But as seredipitiously as it seems, I found a more useful technique than lightning fast reading!
Learn how to fold your shirts in 2 seconds!
Im sure you didn't understood a word she's said. Hehe. Here is the english version:
This technique is pretty usefull specially if you are a bachelor. Right?
More videos of people doing things in seconds... The Japanese never fails to amuse me.
From 2 seconds shirt folding to 2 seconds undressing.
This guy is such a talent!

Eight Principles of Fun
I once failed an interview because of the stupid question: "For you, what is fun?"
It's not that I don't know what fun is, its just that my answer would not be appropriate for the situation. If I said fun is slouching, watching DVD all day and doing IT, just imagine how the reaction of the interviewer would be.
So, just to be safe, if ever Im asked again of what fun is. I did a bit of a research (and had fun, LOL) and now I know what fun is! Fun! Fun! All the way! LOL.
This is sooo fun guys!
Thanks to 8 Principles!

David Beckham's Prison Break Tattoo
Sunday, July 15, 2007
David and Victoria Beckham's recent pictorial with W magazine gained made them among the top keywords used in searches, Victoria Beckham is even at the leaderboard.
While browsing the pictures of the Beckham's I noticed that David has a new tattoo. I used photoshop to zoom at it and take a closer look but it's too blurred.
Good thing there is a hero called the internet...
David loves Prison Breakee Wentworth Miller!!!
Apparently it's an honor to Wentworth Miller's character on Prison Break, fugitive Michael Scottfield.
The needlework design on his right arm, which includes his jersey number 23, links up the angel and clouds he already had on his arm.
I’ve heard he’s getting my tattoo. Isn’t that wild? It never occurs to me that celebrities or sports people or actors are watching my show. I only think of my friends and family tuning in. I think his idea to join up his tattoos will work quite nicely, but I don’t envy him having it done. That’s a lot of work and a lot of pain for a tattoo that size. - Wenthworth Miller, Daily Mail.

Amy Polumbo: Dirty Jerz's Scandalous Pics

According to Amy Polumbo's lawyer, Anthony Caruso, a package of photos of the beauty have been received, and the anonymous sender is asking Miss New Jersey to give up her Crown by Friday, or her pictures will be made public. Her lawyer comments that the pictures show Amy Polumbo with friends, and some of them "may have been pictures that she posted some years ago on a private web site".
Im still digging the internet for more scandalous pictures of Amy Polumbo but my efforts are no good. This is the only one I found.

Friday the 13th: A Bad Day?
Many of us thinks and believes that Friday the 13th causes bad luck to people. This is believed by the English, Polish, German and Portoguese speaking counties around the globe. Greece and Spain however believes on a different day but with the same bad luck effect -- Tuesday the 13th.
If you fear Friday the 13th then you have a paraskavedekatriaphobia. Fearing the number 13 is called friggatriskaidekaphobia. She sells sea shells on the sea shore, however is not a phobia but a tounge twister.
According to Dan Brown's novel , "The Da Vinci Code," Friday the 13th has something to do with the Knights Templar:
The catastrophe was the decimation of the Knights Templar, the legendary order of "warrior monks" formed during the Christian Crusades to combat Islam. Renowned as a fighting force for 200 years, by the 1300s the order had grown so pervasive and powerful it was perceived as a political threat by kings and popes alike and brought down by a church-state conspiracy, as recounted by Katharine Kurtz in Tales of the Knights Templar (Warner Books: 1995):
"On October 13, 1307, a day so infamous that Friday the 13th would become a synonym for ill fortune, officers of King Philip IV of France carried out mass arrests in a well-coordinated dawn raid that left several thousand Templars — knights, sergeants, priests, and serving brethren — in chains, charged with heresy, blasphemy, various obscenities, and homosexual practices. None of these charges was ever proven, even in France — and the Order was found innocent elsewhere — but in the seven years following the arrests, hundreds of Templars suffered excruciating tortures intended to force 'confessions,' and more than a hundred died under torture or were executed by burning at the stake."
Friday the 13th has a huge effect on business:
It's been estimated that [U.S] $800 or $900 million is lost in business on this day because people will not fly or do business they would normally do.
Friday the 13th also has some interesting coincidences:
January 13, 2006, and October 13, 2006, were not only Fridays, but the digits in the month, day, and year of each date add up to 13. This last occurred on October 13, 1520, and will next occur on May 13, 2011.
Several tornadoes touched down in north Texas on Friday, April 13, 2007
I hope the following videos aren't due to Friday the 13th:
Thats it! Goodluck everyone and be safe!

New Seven Wonders of the World Announced
100 million votes were cast to find the new Seven Wonders.
A new version of the Seven Wonders of the World has been drawn up, based on over 100 million votes cast from people in 200 countries.
The winners were announced on July 7, and include the Great Wall of China, Machu Picchu in Peru and the Taj Mahal in India.
The winners, based on an online poll by New 7 Wonders of the World, were announced during a ceremony in Lisbon, attended by American actress Hilary Swank, pop star Jennifer Lopez and tenor Jose Carreras.
The vote, which was drawn from 21 contenders, attracted some cristicism, including from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which said last week that the new wonders of the world should not be chosen in a popular vote.
Other contenders included the Great Pyrmaid of Giza (the only remaining wonder of the ancient world), the Acropolis in Athens, the Eiffel Tower, Ankor in Cambodia and the Moai statues of Easter Island.
The new Seven Wonders in full are:
World Wonder | Christ the Redeemer
World Wonder | The Great Wall
World Wonder | Machu Picchu
